Jack founded Agents Brokerage in 1988 after first obtaining his insurance license in 1966. He worked as a Special Agent with Prudential thru the early 1980’s, then became a partner at Mielke Parren Agency specializing in Disability insurance. Agents Brokerage is a full service, family agency, serving agents and clients needing to understand their optionsf by educatiing our clients and finding the right carrier and plan. Jack enjoyed this work and serving the people, the community, and his family. Jack is a founding member of the Dublin Lions club, a long time member of Columbus Life Underwriters. Jack retired in 2019, though his legacy lives on witht the same passion for helping clients by his wife of nearly 60 years, 2 daughters and his son.

Pat currently assists with teaching the eldest daughter, Jill, the commissions and accounting. She has been mostly retired since 2022.

Jeff started with the firm in 2000 after a career in hospitality. His older sister, Joy, left the business leaving an opening for an office manager. Jeff took over the brokerage work helping agents get quotes, applications, and followed the cases thru underwriting. In April 2000 Jeff obtained his insurance license and began selling health insurance. Like his father, Jeff enjoys educating his clients about Medicare and the complexities of Health or Major Medical Insurance available thru Healthcare.gov and Medicare He loves helping clients obtain a policy they need with affordable premiums. Many Financial Planners in Columbus rely on him as knowledgeable resourece for the complexities of Healthcare.gov and Medicare.

Joy D. Parren, CLU began her career with the agency in 1988 during summers while attending Dublin High School. Upon graduation she went to Kent State University and Franklin University. Joy worked for the agency for 12 years, until moving out of state in 2000. She resides in Phoenix, AZ and is back in the insurance business primarily writing Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement.

Jill retired from child care after 30+ years of self employment and is now the bookkeeper for Agents Brokerage taking over the position when Pat retired in 2022. Jill is the oldest daughter of Jack and Pat. Jill is new to the insurance world, but is learning as the family teaches her the various aspects of the business.
